Harms Tech and today we have the Huawei Pura 70 Pro. So this is the replacement to the P series that you guys have been familiar with. This is a new step and a new age of the Huawei flagship phone. So I’m really excited to check out this phone right here. It is another flagship on this channel which of course I am always very excited. So yes, without further ado, what we’re going to do in today’s video is of course go through the key specs and features before you make your purchase decision. So yes, without further ado, let’s just get right into it. All right, so the Pura 70 Pro does start off at RM48.99 Malaysia and that will place it at about the $1,000 mark.
And now let’s see what we have right in the box. So for instance, first we have the SIM ejector tool. We have a nice hard phone case over here, which is transparent and you can see that it does have some protection for the camera lenses. And here we do have an impressive 100 watt Huawei supercharger. And as you can see here, it’s able to charge up your laptops even more so, which is really, really impressive. You have USB-C and USB-A cable over here, which is gonna be really, really cool to test this out with the charger. that we have here. This one does use a USB-C to USB-C cable. All right, so here is the Pura 70. Really excited to check this out.
Always give me some satisfaction to open this up. And what we have here is the black color edition. It’s of course the white here. And as you can see, it is a matte, super cool black. So it’s really, really cool. We have some nice colors here, some nice texture to it. which I absolutely do love, which is really awesome. And of course, if we just look around at this phone, it’s just really really nice does have a very good weight to it as well. And I would say it’s actually not very huge as well. It’s actually very nice size to hold in your hand. And it does have some nice curve on the sides here as well. And the logo. Come on, let’s talk about this logo.
It looks so cool. It looks like a microscope kind of scanner sensor over here, which does look really really nice and of course, it does have a very futuristic look. Very awesome and very cyborg feeling so which I really do like. We have the power button on the right side with the volume rockers here and on the other side it’s all very very clean and overall it looks really really good. In terms of the build material here, we do have a glass on the back and we also have the Kunlun glass on the front here to provide extra protection to your dropping and to your scratch here as well. So it’s really nicely protected with their Kunlun glass too. And of course, over down here, we do have the SIM Injector 2 slot, we have the USB-C for charging, we have also the stereo speaker setup, all looking really, really nice.
Alright, so now moving on to another main segment over here and that is of course the display. So over here, we do have a massive 6.8 inch display and as you can see, it is a bit of a flat display with some slight curves on the side. And of course, as you would expect from a flagship phone, it does give you your LTPO OLED panel over here. 1 billion colors, HDR support, 120 hertz and a peak brightness of 2500 nits. Because that is really amazing. Because like i mentioned before, we have a stereo speaker setup, one down firing over here and a top firing speaker on the top. Now so one more thing to note is that this phone right here is of course ip68 rated.
Also one thing to note is that this phone right here does have a very very fast optical scanner located on the bottom. also it does have a very, very fast face unlock. So what you do is just point it to your face and it gets the job done. All right, so now moving to what is under the hood. So what is powering this baby up is of course a flexure processor, the kirin 9010, which is a seven nanometer processor. And we do have up to 12 gigs of ram over here and 256 gigs of storage. You can of course get some variants which goes up all the way to one terabyte. Over here i do have the 512 gigs. So depending on which, wherever you are, you have to check your local market for the availability.
And going on to the battery side of things over here, we do have a massive 5050mAh battery and of course you can have your wireless charging, which does support up to 80W of your Honor SuperCharge. And in terms of wired charger over here, 100W like I mentioned before, that is of course insanely insanely fast. And of course, one more thing to note is that impressively, the reverse wireless charging on this is actually very very nice you can go up to 20 watts. You can actually power up your other friend’s Samsung or your friend’s iPhone really, really fast over here, which is really really impressive I’m going to test this out you can test on my other wireless charging phones if it is able to charge up really fast.
and of course if you are outside of China, this one over here does come with EMUI 14.2 which is of course on top of Android 14. So in case if you guys are familiar with the Huawei software over here, we have all the cool features like this side panel over here, the multi window and all the other fun stuff that does come with your Huawei phones. And of course last but not least, let’s talk about the cameras on this phone. So starting with the selfie shooter over here which is located down the center, it does use a nice 13MP F2.4 sensor and it does have your autofocus and it can record up to 4K at 60fps. And this is where it gets really interesting because in terms of the main lenses over here with the triple camera on the back, this is going to be really cool.
So starting here with a 15MP multi-focal aperture over here, we do have a dual autofocus, laser autofocus and OIS. F1.4, and it can go up to f4.0 so it’s just able to give you a little bit more variety when you’re taking your shots with that bokeh effect over here. So it does have an adjustable aperture on the main lens. And of course, if we talk about the telephoto camera over here, we do have a massive 48 megapixel f2.1 sensor, and it can go up to 3.5 times of optical zoom, and it does have your OIS and PDAF as well, which means your autofocus, and that will give you the ultra lighting. macro telephoto camera over here. So you’re able to go up to very, very close objects and get very clear shots with that extra lighting over there.
And that’s what feels really cool. And, of course, you have 35 times of macro zoom over here. Definitely gonna test this out in my day-to-day usage. And, of course, lastly, we do have the ultra wide lens over here a 2.5 megapixel f 2.2 sensor and that would give you and quote total of a triple camera setup. And, of course, this phone here can record up to 4k at 60 fps got certain of the other features that i’ve introduced over here is of course the ultra snapshot over here. So in case if you’re taking shots with moving objects and all that you weren’t worried about taking shots, this is able to give you that speed in the shutter over there to give you your desired shot.
So that’s going to be really cool and see if that really holds up into your everyday usage because the zoom over here, you can go up to 10 times and 3.5 times of nice zoom over here when tested out finally as well against the S24 Ultra. So yes, definitely gonna use the cameras over here to the max. And of course, let’s just check out the camera features that we have here. We have the Pro, Video, Portrait as you would expect. We have the Snapshot here as well. I’m gonna turn this off actually. I like a more natural look. And we have the Pro feature here as well. and a super macro feature. That is one thing we’re going to test out later. So these are the other features that comes with the Pura 70 Pro.
